gearshift position indicator light

the light behind the letters by my shifter went out anyone know the best way to get to it without bein a bull in a china shop and breaking anything? i hate that its out cuz i often end up in neutral on accident.

I haven't had to do it, but others here say you can access the bulb by gently prying the plastic PRNDL21 cover up or out of the way

Well I got to it and replaced it with a 1 inch purple led strip and it looks great all I need now is a prnd21 thing with clear or white letters. I have to scratch the paint off the back Cuz u couldn't see it through them.
