05 xm antenna
so here's the deal...my xm/digital antenna has split on my 05 vibe...no problem right? just buy a new one. well there lies my problem. None of the antennas I find match the old one. The ones the dealer tries to bring me and the ones I've found online look like they twist in but my old mast is held in with 2 torx screws. I even sent it to the dealer to match up and they are saying it looks like it is a redesigned part and ill most likely have to buy a whole antenna assembly to the tune of over 200 bux....eff that I'll let it ride looking like doodoo first. Its the original to this car and I know it cause we bought the car brand new and never had any of the antennas replaced. If anyone knows a source for the old style xm antenna mast I'm all ears...well eyes...lol
