Been trying to figure out whether I should be worried about the lift bolt problem on my '03 Vibe GT?
'03 Vibe GT monotone silver/black interior, 17 inch wheels, 6-disc changer, power packageMods: AEM intake, TRD springs, A-spec Strut Bar'01 Corvette Coupe silver/black interior, six-speed, Z51, a few mods, 12.29 at 117.3mph in 1/4 mile on street tires.
Probably not. Every 2zz that went into a Vibe GT has an updated lift bolt. We'll see in a few years but I haven't heard of any late 02 or 03 celica/vibe/matrix problems. Pretty soon you'll be able to add the Lotus Elise to that company. When it finally gets to the U.S. next spring, it will have a 2zz motor.
Vibe GT, TRD springs, Progress bar, STB, Unichip, Borbet E 16x7.5, 225/50 Bridgestone RE750, beefed up grounds and battery bypass capacitors(had em laying around)

The Elise is going to be neat with a 190hp 2zz and a 2000lb curb weight! Can't wait to read the magazine reviews!
