Better sound exhaust

Post by fredvibe1 »

Hi guys ,
I just bought a vibe 06 and I really like it. I need to found a way to boost it and to have a better sound for the exhaust or the engine.(cheap) . I wanted to know if it's possible to boost it in the engine ( easy way and the cheapest way too). Also for the exhaust, I wanted to drill a hole in, and if you can , where do I need to drill it ? ..
Thanks for the reply

Cold Air Intake http://www.cosmoracing.com/productinfo. ... 8&pid=1258 $138.50 USD They're in Montreal.

Drill a hole in the exhaust? It would have to be pretty big to increase the sound level.

i'm of the opinion that if you want a better exhaust note from this car, you're going to need to do an engine transplant. these cars have tiny, fairly lethargic 4 cylinders in them. aftermarket mufflers or ghetto hole drilling will just make them sound louder, not cooler. i'd rather have a quiet poopy engine than a slightly louder poopy engine.
