Double pulse unlock change to single pulse unlock all doors

Post by lannvouivre »

I would really like to change the Toyota double pulse (one press to unlock driver's door, two to unlock all doors) unlock to a single pulse unlock all doors setup. Via http://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page4.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , it is to my understanding that Toyota has accomplished this setup via relays. Anyone have any ideas of how to change this, since there seems to be no way to change to single pulse with programming of the car?

On the 2009 & 2010's you can change this feature (along with a few others) with a Tech2 - Features you can change are:

ON / OFF

There doesn't seem to be any customizable features available for the 2003-2008 models (at least not listed thru GM)
