Adding power windows to a 2009 vibe easy?

Post by krzys84 »

I'm looking at 2009 Vibe but I noticed it doesn't have power windows but it does have power locks. How easy is it to convert the manual windows to power windows in this car? Obviously I need window regulators, switches, and maybe the door panels. From pictures it looks like the switch will fit the door panel and I can just plug the hole from the crank, am I correct? Are the power connectors already in the doors or do I need some harness or run my own power wires? Thanks for the help.

I'm pretty sure the connectors are already there in the car. You'd need to find a wrecked 2009 Vibe in a junkyard and buy all the window regulators and door panels. This may set you back a few hundred $$$ depending on the junkyard. Me, like you, can't live without the windows being power SO I'd perform this upgrade no matter what the costs it! Keep us posted if/when you do this :D
