drl disable on the 05 base

i see it on every other model but cant find it on mine. 05 base . if someone knows how to do it on here i would love a walkthrough with pics or at least point me to a topic that has it.

Really can't find it. Cut a wire...a yellow one...Just pick one, while standing on your head. Not hard do and there are several DIYs with PICs on that. Research is your friend.

not specificly on the 05. but found 09 06 03 04 never seen it on the 05. and id like to kill it its drawin on my battery during the day. thats unecessary use. and id like to have full control of my lights. like just fogs or high with fogs. ya know.

O6 will work fine. 03 & 04 are also the same

yep, clip the yellow wire under the steering wheel. It disables both DRL and the auto-on headlights which I also hate. I like being able to control my damn headights!!!!! >_<

I added a manual switch to my car to disable the DRL's and auto dashboard lights. It works out fairly well...at night I just flip the toggle, headlights go on immidiately and the interior dash lights come on a few seconds later.
