Loose audio control on radio

I have a AWD 2009 with what I think is the moon and tunes package. Audio/Power control knob just spins. I can still power it on & off and can control volume from the steering wheel controls. Just wondered if I pull the radio out, can the knob be fixed? I tried to push it in thinking maybe it came disconnected but no luck.

The Volume control knob breakage is one of most common defects of the 09 and 10 Vibe. There are a number threads herein about how to repair and/or replace it with a new knob. After you remove the radio out, then you must remove the front display cover.. The knob is locked in there with a flange ring on the bottom of the knob. You can order a new knob for about $6.00. There are a lot of ideas of what we think are the best repair. So please read the other threads and review the pictures.
