The newest addition to my Vibe!

I had been considering some personalized or vanity license plates for my Vibe for quite some time, but I could never come to a firm decision on just what to get. After only ever seeing one vehicle with Illinois Route 66 specialty license plates and being inspired by all the Route 66 memorabilia while in Pontiac for the GenVibe meet earlier this year, I finally decided on the license plate you see below...







I love it! I had to wait a month and a half to get it and it will cost about $40.00 more each year at registration time, but I think it's totally worth it !

Kumquat, I agree about the letters. The first thing I noticed was that the V is kind of hard to see because it blends into the road, but oh well. I'm still lovin' it !

I suppose the other is going to be a nice wall ornament...? I kinda wish that Minnesota had better plates. The inverted-color version of the MN plate is cool. Oh well, I like my plate. It's a God-send if you're playing the alphabet game!

I'll most likely just leave it alone as it doesn't bother me that much and I don't want to ruin the brand new plate .

You are correct. The other plate will be displayed on the wall in the garage !

I still smile whenever I am walking toward the Vibe and I see the plate on the rear ! They're so cool looking compared to the boring old standard Illinois plates.
