Plug in adapter for aux in to radio

Post by Viber3w »

Hi, new vibe owner here, bought a used 2008, it's got a stock radio. I've read some posts about how to equip it with an aux in connection, all of them seem overly complicated. The back of my radio looks like this:

There is a 24 plug pin plugged in, the 12 pin is empty. I assume that goes to a 6-disc changer or other aux. Can't I just get an adapter that will plug into that 12 pin and have a 3.5 mm jack on the other end to plug in an mp3 player, phone, etc?

I just got an 06 and was looking into aux kits. Where did you find this cable?
I am thinking about just geting another radio to put in since they are about the same price as an aux kit

This looks like the one you found, but the 15-60 days for shippig seems questionable

This one seems like a better deal. These things are hard to find
