I have the NAV system with the CD changer. I desperately want to find a way to have an AUX input and it just occurred to me to simply patch into the changers output line. There are two connectors. Does anyone know which two wires are the audio out?

So I tracked it down myself. The smaller connector at the CD changer with 4 wires is audio out.
left out white
rght out black
common red
4th wire no clue
but here is the deal.
I took a 1/8th stereo male patch cord,
cut one end off,
stripped the wires,
spliced them to the above wires I had cut from the factory connector,
plugged the other end into my Android,
plugged the factory connector back into the CD player
I have the NAV disk in the head unit.
turned on the CD,
and it plays both sources.
(removed)? How is this possible. The output from the CD player is not connected. It's nuts. On blank spaces on the disk the Android player sounds fine. The CD alone sounds fine. I know almost nothing about electrical beyond splicing wires and throwing switches off and on.
I am wondering how to burn a silent disk at this point as a kludge but would love an explaination of how the CD is playing audio when it is not connected?
Edit
Well I just disconnected the 4 pin connector from the CD unit and now hear just whatever is plugged into the cord. I will live with this and it will be great.
