K so I'm aware that the cars with power windows had hardware issues with the window regulator that caused rattles and clunks and led to a recall. But I have crank windows (which never saw a recall) and I'm getting a rattle, mainly when the window is all the way down but it's happened as high as 2" up from the bottom. Has anyone else had this happen on a crank window car? Is it the same problem that the power window guys had or something different?
I could just tear the panel off and have a look but I'd like to go in with parts on hand, or at least a clue of what's going on in there since I hate dealing with door panels (I know ours aren't bad, I've had the passenger's side out already to change a busted mirror housing but I'm a little scarred from the days when I had to deal with the paper ones on '80s GM stuff on a regular basis).
