Wheel options for 2005 Base model

Post by NewCarObsess »

Hi,
I'm a new vibe owner and I am looking into getting some cool wheels for my car. I want either a 17 or 18 inch rim, but I'm worried about them fitting correctly. I know from reading posts on here that anything with an offset with a +32 to a +45 should be fine, but I'm concerned mostly with the offset/wheel width combos that are out there. Here are some wheels I am currently looking into:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-New-17X7-5-5x ... 0670502556" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; <-- These have a +45 offset

http://www.frsport.com/Konig-Roller_c_806.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; <-- these have a +35 I believe.

Any help would be appreciated, and other wheels ideas would also be great!

The optional 17" wheel is 17x7 with a +45 offset. A 7.5" wide wheel with a +45 offset will work perfectly.

A 17" wheel with a 7.5" and +35 will poke the wheel out a bit more.

Here's a link to calculate the sizes and positions.

That website was actually really helpful! I think I am gonna go with the 16 in konig rollers that have a 7.5 inch width and a +35 offset.
