Gumout ® Regane ® Fuel System Cleaner Review

Post by Vibelo »

Just wanted to post a review on this product: Gumout® Regane®Fuel System Cleaner. I purchased the vehicle back in April, 2013. Tried Seafoam, did not get any smoke when I used it per the instructions nor any improvement. After reading reviews of the Lucas product, I used it for about 5 gas tanks per the reviews on site, could not duplicate benefits. Used the Chevron product could not duplicate any improvement. Went to Advance Auto part this weekend and they had the Gumout product on sale. WOW! Immediate difference after driving just a few miles. Idle smooth, runs better and there was no smoke whatsoever this morning (had a little smoke at start ups in the mornings) This product really does what it advertises. Give it a try 2 for $10 at Advance Auto Parts. My Vibe is 2004 Auto Base.

Thanks for the review! How is the product used? Added to gas tank or engine oil or....?

The Seafoam procedure which results in your neighborhood being covered in white smoke involves spraying Seafoam directly into the induction system of the car while it is RUNNING! It is very cool. Not sure if it helped my Vibe any, as it was running fine to start with. Preventative maintenance maybe?
