I have searched and have not seen a direct wiring of a belkin or any other Bluetooth device being hardwired directly to the aux port. Whether its on the motherboard or the harness, doesn't matter, Im assuming from the PAClike if there was a harness and some others that its capable to be done without soldering anything to the hu itself.
One beginning question I have is what allows the head unit to enable the aux, obviously without anything connected to it, it will not "scroll" to aux when you push that CD/aux button. Is it just having power going to it, like if there was a 6 disc hooked up to it or sat radio? Somewhat similarly the CD player will not play without a CD in it so pushing the button won't do anything. So what engages the aux to be used? This is for an 05 non-monsoon.
I am looking for a cleaner option than the blank cd one that is detailed on the forums for getting bluetooth into the factory HU.
TIA
