Not great on gas? How bad compared to the fwd?...this is the first I've heard this.thebarber wrote:Have you driven an awd 1st Gen? They're slow and not great on gas...
IMO, get a fwd and snow tires...(if winter is why you want awd)
As it lies, these cars are pretty high when stock. Tires alone could give you what you want. Anyway, a manual will get you better economy if you know what you're doing. The 4-spd auto may be geared for economy, but if you aren't driving perfectly it will guzzle fuel like a full-size. Either way, I'm sure you'll be happy with one!mrsocks wrote:22!? Geeze. I'od be pissed if I got 22. The new full sized silverados get 23.
Anyway, ok. I guess I will just look for a FWD one and thinking about it more, maybe even a manual.
My plans are for larger tires and a slight lift if it is possible.
I'm interested, what are the details?drowssap wrote:So...decided to go pick up a new prius today so the vibe will ne for sale in about 2-3 weeks if interested
Hi there. Is your orange stick still available? I would also be interested - I'm in the GTA. Can you message me with details if it's still for sale? Thanks!drowssap wrote:So...decided to go pick up a new prius today so the vibe will ne for sale in about 2-3 weeks if interested
You did?drowssap wrote:replied finally!
copper04 wrote:I just came across your post from last month. Not sure if your request is still active, but I may be selling my 2004 orange Vibe soon. I am the original owner, the car has always been dealer-serviced (except for oil changes done at the quick-lube shop), and it has only 90K miles. Auto trans, not AWD, but it does have the chrome exhaust tip and the Moon & Tunes package. I'm still stuck in the in-between phase of not wanting to sell it (I love it) but needing a bigger car (the kids are now 13, 11, and 9, so all three across the back seat is becoming an issue!).
