You're quite welcome :D As my signature shows, our family has three 2009 Pontiacs. The wife spoiled the Vibe GT trio by getting her the G8Gt  Junior (my 18 year old son) owns the Blue Vibe GT (automatic) and my Red one is a manual. There are surprisingly SEVERAL multiple Vibe owner families here on GenVibe. Not a whole lot of modding done to mine yet. Click my "cardomain" link to see what little I've done to date. Lot's more on the drawing board :D

oh... ya... i do really like that steel blue metallic color, kinda looks like my aspire but my aspire is not metallic.... how good is the MPG (Manuel vs Auto) on the 2.4 GT? I here that the 2.4 gets better MPG then the 1.8

Based on my "Fleet comparison" seeing how I have one of each, the manual only gets about 1mpg better. EPA estimates are identical for both but the manual 5-speed truly is "minutely" more efficient :o

Nope  When Ryan "star deceiver" had his 1.8l with a manual 5-speed, he got several tankfuls where he recorded 40+ mpg values :)

well... that sucks! I really think that all the engines would benefit from the 5 speed auto and manual tranny.

I think the small Mercedes SUV may still be using a "4 Matic". As for what I have done to my 2009 Vibe since I bought it new in Jan. 2009 - had it washed a few times, changed wiper blades, took it to the dealer for oil changes and tire rotations. My cost of ownership in those 52 months has been very low - only have 24,000 miles on it..

I have a 2009 Liquid Platinum Metallic Vibe GT that I bought brand new on April 11, 2009. My mom has a 2009 Steel Blue Metallic Vibe GT that she bought brand new on May 23, 2009 (4 years ago today!). Click the links in my signature to visit our Garage threads to see what all we have done to them (too much to list).

My mom has actually received a couple comments from complete strangers on the color of her Vibe. It's a beautiful color, especially when it's all nice and clean and shiny !
