A2, MI - "Vibe central"??

Post by Mazzy21 »

I've been noticing a LOT of Vibes lately here in Ann Arbor. I think they were probably always here, I just never paid that much attention until now, after joining Gen Vibe. And now that I AM noticing, I really can't believe just how many Vibes are on the road here!

To give a RL example, these are my sightings during the last 10 minutes during a lunch-run to Subway. This entire trip is maybe a .2 mile (or less) loop.

First stop, Speedway, for a quick fill-up; pulled up to the pump behind a 1st Gen charcoal Base. Next stop, Subway, for my delicious BBQ chicken sandwich that I am currently enjoying :). Two 2nd Gens here; one black, and one charcoal Base models. I parked next to the charcoal - Vibe love <3. :D Pulling out of the Subway parking lot a white 2nd Gen zooms by on the road. Then to the stop light (where I turn in to work), pulling up beside another 2nd Gen Neptune.

Five Vibes (six if I include mine) in a ten minute trip! Vibe-love going strong in Ann Arbor! :D

fwiw, i think Ferndale/Royal Oak MI is the greatest hotspot of Vibes i've ever seen. we had Pontiac dealer that relocated from RO to Ferndale midway through the Vibe's lifespan, and they sold a ton. Ferndale is also a hotspot for Subaru's, as there's a very successful dealer here suckering all sorts of people into buying those overpriced hoopties.

Sellers, over there on Grand River Avenue in Farmington Hills had a S H I T load of Vibes back when I was looking. Almost bought one from them at the time. Also they had the largest in-stock selection of 2009 G8Gt's & the GXP trim line also. They must have known somebody driving the delivery trucks to heads straight to there lot and nowhere in between

That's awesome! There are a few Vibes around my area, but they are all 1st gens. There are only like two 2nd gens I see on a regular basis in the area. Both are 2.4L Bases. One is white and the other silver.
