Hi!

I just sold my is300 and bought myself an 03' GT Vibe. Pretty excited to fix 'er up (A/C is dead and shifter feels pretty notchy)

My friends can't believe i'm driving a pontiac. (always have been a totoya/lexus RWD guy)

P.S. Car previously belonged to a smoker, the car still has a lingering sweet cigarette smell, I found that it's mainly the headliner that still stinks. Is there a place I can buy a new headliner ?

Welcome to GenVibe ;) I've never heard of "smokers scent" as being SWEET, but I get your point. Others here will chime in on the remedies of removing that stench smell. I always tried to stay away from cars belonging to a smoker UNLESS it was an unbelievable deal. Fix this baby up & drive it forever 8-) Nice year & trim also. Post pics when you get a chance :D

Yeah, i never noticed the smoke smell because the car had its windows open :(. But it was a good deal @ 4500 dollars I think, considering that here in Vancouver base matrix's seem to go for around 3500~

Welcome to GenVibe! Wow, another interesting change in vehicles ! As tpollauf said, post some pictures of the Vibe when you get a chance ;)!

As far as a new headliner, check out gmpartscenter.net for the best prices on brand new OEM GM parts (even though, as cptnsolo77 said, your "Pontiac" is really much more Toyota ).

Yeah, I switched to the Vibe GT because I wanted something a little bit more fuel efficient, cheaper, and useful (utility wise). I already miss RWD though :P.

I'll post up some pics in a few days.
