My new 2004 Vibe Gt 6 speed

Post by highrevvibegt »

hello everyone i'm new hear and i hope i post these pics correctly but hear is my new 2004 vibe GT 6 speed with every option, excluding the silly navigation system waste of money if you ask me. anyway it has the appearence package, exhaust tip front facia extentions side skirts and rear bumper cover, and the 17' rims as you all know it has the 180 hp engine and redlines at 8200rpm's . All of the other vibe gt owner's is it just me or when the rpm's gets between 6900 to 8200 rpm's their is some kind of extra boost. It is great . nice car overall . I wouldn't of got a vibe unless their was an option like the appearence package. Not to diss the plain base vibe but they are a nice car overall . i can't wait for other mods to come out. later everyone

Welcome to genvibe! For some info on including pics in a post here, there is some info at http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=5985That extra kick at high RPMs is called "lift" I won't try to explain it, try searching for lift. (threads/topics like http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=3425 )

great looking vibe there! nice color too. with the sport package, all you need to do is lower it about an inch and a half or two and you're ready to really rock! i still love those side skirts. wish they were available by themselves. sigh, oh well. i'm still waiting on more a/m body kits.... if they ever make them.welcome to genvibe! hope your stay is long and prosperous!

Hey, I know you! Welcome to the site. I'm sure glad somebody directed you this way!The "kick" at 6200 rpm through about 8350 is what's known as lift. That's what the extra "L" is in our VVTL-i! Variable valve timing and lift intelligence! Wait till you get an intake! They really take off after 6g then! Here, have a listen! http://forums.genvibe.com/zerofile/53/vibe3.mp3 http://forums.genvibe.com/zerofile/53/vibe2.mp3 http://forums.genvibe.com/zerofile/53/vibe1.mp3 Welcome!
