It's a Matrix. The guy stuck chicken wire not only in the tailpipe but in the openings of the lower body cladding.

oh Lord, you may now end my existance upon this Earth, for I have now seen all that there is to see in this world...I've seen that stainless steel wire mesh for sale on the web before. Like someone else mentioned, I think it was meant for making custom front grille inserts. Although I found much humor in the beekeeping idea.
