I mentioned this Vibe to my bro-in-law who lives in Lost Peninsula, Michigan (only accessible through Toledo Ohio) as he's looking for a project car for himself & soon to be driving 15yr old son. Figured that wouldn't take that long to sell. $1000, buy a $500 trans, a new clutch and flywheel, voila, someone with a lot of drive and mechanical know how has some reliable inexpensive transportation for less than 2 grand if they do the work themselves.
