Shocks

Post by lorie565 »

I have a 2004 Vibe: i have been having this popping noise under front end like when i cross railroad track real slow or leaving out of parking lots .. goin over bumps slowly can hear it real good... i thought it was the underliner that was loose but my son strapped that back up for me good and its still doing it... didnt know if anyone else has had this problem and I dont know what to look signs to look or hear for if it may be the front shocks... If anyone can give me any info on this it would be greatly appreciated...

thank you Lorie

How many miles on the car? Have the struts ever been replaced? If so where the strut mounts also replaced? Can you tell what side the sound is coming from?

hello, first of all it is necessary to look jays of the stabilizer, the stabilizer plug, shock-absorbers, to check spherical support. recently too on the rough road I noticed knock on the right, there was that a broken spherical support, I don't know you will understand me or not as I write in Russian and I transport through the translator, excuse))

I have this knock and have for a while, it is annoying and I try to ignore it because I'm sure it'll be expensive lol. I'm going to get it looked at when I get my summer wheels back on

Can you circle it on a technical drawing of the suspension? Or maybe say which of these parts it is:

Actually, maybe you mean the ball joint?
