Do you have a name for your Vibe?I have seen alot of great ideas for polls and this one hasn't been done yet.By the way, if you do have a name for your Vibe is there a reason or a story behind it?
crap, I am sorry to hear about that. So I take it that you are having your car built so how long are they saying the wait will be in Canada now for your Vibe.
I have no idea what the wait is if you ordered right now. When I ordered they guestimated 4-6 months. I just passed the 4 month mark this week. Still no build date. I just hope I get it before xmas (fat chance)
The chronic starvation of the Canadian market by GM is unacceptable, unfair, immoral, insulting, stupid, irresponsible, bad business sense, unpatriotic, unsustainable, ungodlike, discriminatory, impossible, discombobulating, flatulating, hurtful, frustrating, infuriating, inflationary, inflamatory, unservicable, madening, damaging, trunkating, worsening, extenuating, deadening, perplexing
Wow...tell me how you really feel. Yah, GM does put Canada in a difficult position as far as jobs, and service. They treat it just like other exports of their vehicles to other countries, like crud. It's all politics I'm afraid

It think mine is eventually going to get the name "Buzz" or "Bee" or something like that. I'm trying to get an Abyss / Yellow color theme going. It is just starting out very slow.
Heres a clever name for you....Viberoptics lol I dont call mine that, I dont have a name for it yet but I kind of like Hecate...that is the Greek goddess of Hell...and sinse my Vibe is black with red neons it looks evil -=Paul=-
Because it is the Fusion Orange the family and freinds call it the "Little Pumpkin". Because when it is parked next the the Deville and the Crew cab dually that is what it looks like.
Just here to lend a hand to people who have questions about their Vibe.
"Slick"I refer to Slick often like he is a living, breathing being. My wife often reminds me that he is not alive. He is not a pet nor a child. He's my friend though.Twitch? What Twitch?

Yep, the Vibe furthest away from the camera in my signature is Marcie, my Vibe, while the one closest to it belongs to ColonelPanic (the Mr ) and is named Sir Knocksalot (and for good reason...LOL)

I've only had my Vibe for a few weeks, so I'm not completely settled on a name for it yet, but the front runner is "oompa"..... as in "creepy oompa loompa vibe" because it kinda creeps me out how addictive this little car is! And as best as I can tell so far... it is a boy.side note: my wife owns a 2000 Pontiac Montana... we named it "Vegas" because it was either a vacation to Las Vegas or a down payment on a new vehicle... she picked the van. And after 5 years we've determined that it is a gay male because it's not quite petite or femine enough to be a girl but it's definitely not very masculine (especially going uphill). Plus it's always well dressed and hates to get dirty.disclaimer: not meant as a stereotype or generalization of gays, simply trying to describe a minivan using human traits... please don't flame (no pun intended).
Riley. My sis and I got in a debate over whether a female's car is male or female. I said cars, like ships, should always be female, she argued that a woman's car should be male, and vice versa. Riley was a compromise. "Chloe" was a close runner up. After driving for a month though, she's definitely female and definitely a Riley--furthermore a tribute to Riley from National Treasure. Awesome character, great movie.P.S. My sister's brown, champagne (and primer gray) '89 GMC truck is named Harriet. Yup. Harriet the Chariot.

I probably should name mine...I get some weird looks when people overhear me talking about my vibe, but don't catch enough of the conversation... I've never really named cars... I have a sense of the kind of name mine would have, but "the vibe" works for now.

I don't really call it anything, but if it had a name, it'd probably be Buzz. Buzz for the buzzy engine (unlike any car I'd had before), Buzz for Aldren (sp) or Lightyear to go with the spacey theme, and Buzz for the sound most vibes make There were many double entendres with the model name when the car was new to us...
