Brand New Owner

Wow, I just got this little car about a week ago. It was actually suggested by my Certified Mechanic son who feels that it is a great car for the money and as he likes to call it bullet proof.
I purchased a 2007 5 speed manual which right now I am just loving.
Getting used to a manual after many years of driving an automatic. Have to say it took no time at all to remember how.
It has 92,000 miles and I have to say the previous owner took great care of her as he marked every service in the owners manual including oil changes.
The car to me is a little noisier than I am used to especially at speeds over 50, but will find out from reading this forum hopefully weather that is normal or not.
The funniest part is that I keep finding reasons to go places in my car.
Looking forward to learning more about this vehicle and glad I stumbled upon this site.

The one I got is silver with black molding.
Has a nice sound system, power roof, keyless entry and it really is lots of fun.
What color did you get and is this a new venture for you too?

Welcome! seems to be the post about newly purchased 07s. We also just got a blue 07 base with 92k. The Vibe is a noisy car, we have had a few and I think its just because of the lack of sound insulation. Plenty of post here on how to quiet them down.,,,im just use to it so it doesn't bother me.

Mine is silver as well.
No power features, as I didn't really desire or need any.
I just wanted a 5-speed with cruise, and that's what I have.
Silver is a very common but convenient color, I find.
It hides dirt/dust better than primary colors.
