secodary air injection sys can i disable the sys

hello I have a 2004 vibe gt 98000 mi my error code p2441 indicates that a shutoff switching valve is stuck open.
I would like to immobilize the secondary air system back to the main computer so no trouble light I don't think it would harm anything because it only runs at startup so I would like some opinions or help thanks
