performance fuel injection

Post by passtimik »

Anyone heard of performance fuel injectors? If so, anyone have them? If so, how are they? Does anyone recommend a set?

I imagine that they would only be needed if you do something to increase the air flow through the engine significantly like add a supercharger. As long as the injectors can maintain the proper fuel/air ratio when the throttle is wide open, then they are doing all they can to increase the power output.

if you must put bigger injectors in it, go to monkey wrench racing. they have everything you could imagine to build a 1ZZ or a 2ZZ

There are a lot of companies that offer high flow or performance fuel injectors like ACCEL, MSD, VENOM and a whole bunch of others. For selecting the proper set of fuel injectors to match your mods, like camshaft, super/turbocharging, nitrous, etc., look for "EFI Math" either in iTunes or Google Play.

iTunes:

Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... athandroid" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Good luck!
