Greatest Car Songs

Post by disneydj »

Okay, being a DJ I should know the answer to this question... and there are some favorites I've got rolling around in my head... but I'd figure to give all of you a chance to voice your opinion. I'm putting together a compilation of All Time Greatet Car Songs... you know like1. Riding Along in my Automobile - Chuck Berry2. Free Ride - Edgar Winters3. Rockin Down the Highway - Doobie Brothers4. and almost every Beach Boy tuneSo do me a favor, list as many as you can think of, and in the end I could make this CD available to all who participate. Thanks Again

it's not ALWAYS how I feel, but when it takes twice as long as normal to get to work because of fog and twice as long to get home from work because of random, unannounced road construction...both on the same day...(today) I can identify with Bad Habit by the Offspring.

"My Hope Is In You" by Third Day - when this song is on, I find myself singing at the top of my lungs while the speed of my car increases.Anybody familiar with it?

If driving instrumentals count, how about "Flight of the Bumblebee"? Should be enough to get anyone moving at Warp Speed....

Route 66GTO (just like your said anything from the beach boys). These are not songs about cars but driving songs. Can't drive 55(mentioned before/do it everyday)Breakin the law(done everyday)Air of the night(Phil Collins) Miami vice days driving the black spyder down lakeshore drive. Excellent tune for long winding country roads.
Just here to lend a hand to people who have questions about their Vibe.
