Standard or CK socket for 7443 bulb

Post by lowincash »

I plan on getting the v-led 7443 LED bulbs for the back lights and they have two types. Does anyone know if the 2009+ vibes take standard or ck?

This is the video of how to test it but I don't have that testing thing

Will also be getting the v-led 921 bulb for the reverse light too :D

I'm not sure about the taillight bulbs, but I too am going to be getting the 5000k white 921 bulbs for our reverse lights. I have their 5000k white bulbs in our interior and license plate lights and couldn't be happier with them, so I'm sure the 921s will be awesome in the reverse lights!

You need to put up some "before and after" install pictures, so we can see the light difference.

So far I've only changed out the interior lights and reverse lights to LED, don't think I'm going to do the brake lights and turn signals anymore or any time soon =/

Yeah, I have decided to just stick with switching all the white lights (minus the headlights) to LEDs. We currently have them in the interior lights and the license plate lights of both our Vibes. I will be ordering the 921s for the reverse lights pretty soon.

I was going to order the 5000K 921's from v-led but getting them from iJDMtoy since they were nearby and I just picked them up. In the store the bulbs were pure white but when I put them in the car they had a slight bluish hue to it. I'm guessing they're 6000K. I also got those 6000K for the interiors, they were so bright but had a bluish hue to them too. Didn't really like that so I exchanged them for warm white (4500K) so it just looks like bright stock lights, just whiter lol

Next time I'll get 5000K as I think that's the pure white I was looking for.

All our LEDs from v-LEDs are 5000k and I couldn't be happier with the light color and output. The light is a nice bright, crisp white. No hint of blue whatsoever.
