Got my first 400 miles tank the other day!!

Yup...I finally got 400 miles to a tank of gas in my GT. I knew it was going to be close but I was bound and determined to make it. I took a longer route to the gas station just so I would get the extra miles. I came out with like 400.3 miles. The funny thing is that when I filled up, I put 13.04 gallons of gas in it ! If these cars are supposed to have a 13 gallon tank, then I must have been WAY close to running out. I made it though!!! Jim

Capacity is 13.2 for base and GT (AWD is 11.9).

400.3 miles with your GT! Wow!!Even with my base I haven't did more then 300 miles with a tank. But I have to say I do not like running in my car while the low gas light is on.

Congrats! I was in your neck of the woods a few weeks ago and managed to get about 364 miles before the low fuel light kicked on. Didn't mean to run it that low but was trying to get back to Myrtle Beach from Raleigh and decided to try to make it all the way. Didn't reach 400 and hope I never have to but it was nice to see the gas mileage finally getting up there past 30 or so.Dave

My highest has been 390, I just keep chickening out. Well, for my last tank I filled up at 371 and only stopped because my Wife had to pee, had plenty of gas left.( 35.01 MPG and I only put in 10.596 Gallons, could have went another 90 miles).
