OEM ANTENNA W/AMPLIFIER REPLACEMENT OR AFTERMARKET

My amplifier just went out in my antenna mast for 03 Silver Vibe GT. Called Chevy dealer to get a price and found out its 2parts (contector on A collum passenger side). Mast to A collum $74.00, A collum to radio $54.00. Found somethings cheaper though Toyota but not in this case. Toyota wants $301.00 from mast to radio. Any Matrix owners may want to take note on this. After market at Pep Boys with amplifier $30.00, adapter for OEM radio (smaller than standard antenna connector) about $10.00. I just used the connector from the A collum for the power line and spliced the new power line into the quick disconnect end so still only powers up when radio is on. Hope this helps someone out.
