Well we finally got another new member from my hometown It's been years since I've had to deal with any local salvage/junk yards so I'd have to check around to see who is reputable & worthy of your business. There should be plenty of these engines around within a few hours driving distance of Toledo. Keep us posted as to what you find!

I checked car-part.com they dont have anything current. And as far as I know the local yards don't have any GT engines. The cheapest one I found online was a remanufactured for 2,900 bucks!

OP Perhaps you didn't read thebarber's post. It doesn't need to be from a Vibe GT. Just a 2zz-ge engine from 03-06 Vibe/Matrix/Corolla.
