Best ground in trunk

Post by guillaume »

I have a 2005 vibe, and I would like to place a sub in it. My setup si already done, the only thing that miss to be able to use it is a good ground. Witch place in this trunk is the best place. (I've tought about the metal hooks, but maybe somewhere else it will be better)

Thanks for your help !!!!

I just installed my subs and used a bolt under the panel that covers the baby seat clips. Open that panel and use on of the two bolts that hold down the entire plastic floor. Do not use the bolts holding down the baby seat clips. You will have to scrape paint off of the metal. Mine had black paint on it. Then you just have to snake the ground wire through the hole the baby seat straps go through. I have all of my wires running into that cavity to keep my system looking clean. If you have to take out your subwoofer than you can just push the wires down through the holes and have nothing in the way for carrying cargo.
