Baby seat in the Vibe...

Going to be a dad soon and I am wondering how many vibe owners has/had baby seats in there vibe?? I am getting the RECARO baby seat for the vibe which I can also put in my 02 CETA during the summer time for car shows .

What are your experence with a baby seat and How do they fit in the Vibe? The Vibe should be a safe enough car to hold a precious little one!!

I have two forward facing convertible seats for my 1 and 3 year olds, Cosco Scenera and Graco Matrix. THey fit well when forward facing, but you need a lot more room at first while the child is rear facing. When the Scenera had to face rear, I kept it on the passenger side becuase the front seat had to scoot up a few inches.

The latch points in the vibe are very easy to reach, much easier than other cars I've tried.

I'm interested in if anyone has gotten 3 seats across the backseat, do not want to get a minivan when kid #3 shows up.

The small booster seats (just a base to sit on) fit with plenty of room for three across. If #1 graduated to one of those before #3 came along and you moved it to the middle you might fit them all in.

we've got 2 sunshine kids radian xt's in the vibe....good forward and rear....though, rear facing they it had to go behind the passenger seat, but i could still sit comfortably in the front passenger seat.

we've fit 3 car seats across since the radian is narrow for smaller cars...we love them.

That's good to know. Are the 3 radians a tight fit? Do you think 2 radians and an infant seat base would fit as well?

Iirc we had 2 radians and an infant base/seat

Congrats on the Blessing! I forget the make and model of what I last bought, but if you use the search box on "baby car seat" topic, the thread will come up, because when my healthy L.O. outgrew m,y foolproof, user-friendly chi co, I had to upsize to a convertible seat for near-adults LOL.
I hate the latch anchors...I keep procrastinating, but I need to move the seat soon from one car to the other, and the hero that helped me install the seat when I bought it secured it with the (censored) latch anchors. aargh.
