So I've been having issues lately with a whistline sound, roughe idling, not hitting proper boost, etc. etc. I ordered a slightly used throttle body, cleaned the heck out of it, put it through the dishwasher ( ) and then recleaned it with TB cleaner. I swapped out the old one this weekend and I noticed on the old throttle body that:1. The gaset on the IACV wasn't working properly. The coolant was leaking past and getting into the IACV propellor - Not good!Replacing that helped. Everything was performing a lot better. I still had the whistle and slightly rough idle. I had a smoke test done it on and they found a small vacuum leak coming from the large hose that connect the head to the top of the throttle body. Putting on a better hose clamp fixed that. It still idles a little rough but that is to be expected with torque mount inserts. I'm still averaging around 6 PSI, which I don't like but everything seems to perform a lot better now.I re-checked the bolts on the supercharger and those were all tight. I have noticed some staining around the dipstick and SC snount and I started to worry that the SC'er wasn't on tight, or the snout was leaking. All bolts were tight, so I'm thinking some heat/steam from the dipstick was causing that.Just thought I'd share my experience!
Petrucci914 - If you are still around did your coolant leaking through the IACV gasket look like this? My coolant used to be red (before I changed it) and there appears to be some "crystallized" on the air side of the gasket. Put in a new gasket after cleaning the throttle body, IACV, etc. today.
