Speedy Delivery!

Post by Adam24303 »

A day after an oil change and an awesome wash at a local full-service car wash a package arrived with my new (to me) Vibe all-weather floor mats.
I was lucky enough to pick them up here on GenVibe from DressedInBlack who, unfortunately, was selling off all of his Vibe stuff.
The mats look great and now I have a full set as I bought the cargo mat a while back.

Nice clean Vibe GT:

I also spent some time today cleaning up the engine compartment:

And the new mats look awesome!

Looks good on a good looking Vibe! It is kind of neat how much of Geoff's stuff is ending up on other red Vibes. I got his K&N and it is working great.

Yeah our 09 Red Vibe GT's certainly are benefiting from his "sale off"

Gotta love a nice shiny Vibe, even if it is red ! JK!

That engine bay is begging for a K&N CAI !

I love my GM floor and cargo mats! Consider yourself lucky that you got the floor mats since they've been discontinued for a couple years now thanks to the Toyota pedal recall fiasco.

It definitely sucks that Geoff had to get rid of his Vibe, but it's at least nice to know that his Vibe is "living on" on other members' Vibes.

I'm not sure why they were discontinued, though. That mat, when hooked in, is no where near the gas pedal. They are great mats.

I know. I completely agree with you. My driver's side floor mat doesn't budge. The other ones don't really move around too much either. I'm sure it was mostly just GM covering their booties .

Side note. I'd love a CAI but am not too confident with my installation skills. Maybe someday when it's paid off ill give it a go.

I have to say, it was much easier than i thought it would be. Carrie has installed them on both hers and her mom's too.

Yep, it's super easy and well worth the money and (short) installation time. The directions that come with the intake are very detailed and even include pictures for each step. You can check the instructions out online too ;).
