led turn signals blink too fast ?

I recently replaced all my external bulbs with multiple led style bulbs , they look great and are much brighter . but the turn signals blink to fast now , i am aware that its because of the resistance being less in the system . however i dont want to put it back to stock . i am thinking of adding indicators to the mirrors and/or side markers to be used as additional signals , i will splice these into the oem wiring . but im not sure that will be enough added resistance to slow the blinkers any suggestions ?
