2009 Vibe ABS and Brake Light on

Post by raider64 »

I have a 2009 Vibe (FWD) that I drive each night on a delivery route. When I finished this morning, the brakes had been working fine, with no lights on. When I went out this afternoon to start it, both the ABS and Brake lights stayed on. I then took it for a ride, ran it through the wash to get rid of any snow build up from the undercarriage, and the brakes continued to work fine. Also, the fluid is at the max level. Does anyone know where I should start looking to solve this? Thanks so much for your help and time. :?

Could be a bad Wheel speed/ABS sensor. Plug in a code reader and see what comes up.

I would echo Star's answer.
Based on experiences with Corolla. Usually after big snow storm many customer brings their corolla back for their ABS light stays on. I think it could be something to do with wheel spinning excessively that trip the sensor.
