Make my Vibe feel like new?

Post by patrickogrady »

I need to get a few more years out of my '06 Vibe. It has over 150000 km and feels like it. I would need to replace the struts anyway, but what other things should I replace while I'm at it?

If your struts and shocks are already blown, replacing them will do a lot to help.

Besides that you can check for wear in the rest of your front suspension.
-Ball Joints
-Tie Rods
-Sway Bar End Links
Best thing is to grab the wheel while it's off the ground and push/pull/twist on it to feel for any play.

Why does the car feel worn to you, is the ride especially harsh, bouncy, loud?
