Front bumper damage/separation

Post by ThePatriot »

I bought my car a month ago knowing that it had a little damage to the bumper. I never have taken the time to learn body work, aside from zip tying stuff together.... Anyways, can anyone tell me how to get this tightly put back together, and are there any suggestions for how to clean off the black scuff marks on the plastic? Thanks! I searched the forums for about an hour before posting.

hmmm...I beleive it's just clips right around there.
No clue on the scuffs tho.
I wouldn't hit it with sandpaper, that'd just make matters worse.

Thanks, I read enough yesterday to think that maybe I have to peel off some of the fender well to get to the clips in there.

As for the scuffs, I think I may just hit it with some goo gone and see if it is able to clean off the scuffs.

Body work is not my specialty by any means.

There's a bolt right there in the wheel well. Peel back the plastic and see if it is loose. As for the scuffs, try going over it with Mothers Back to Black or similar plastic restorer.
