2005 Tire Monitoring Warning Light

Post by DNA05Vibe »

I had some work done on bad motor behind my dashboard on my 2005 Vibe. When I picked up the car, the Tire Monitoring Warning Light was on. The owners manual talks about a reset switch that is not on my dash as shown in the manual. I have now driven about 400 miles and the light is still on. My mechanic knew of the reset button, so he expected the light would go off after a few miles (even without the reset button) but that clearly isn't happening. Any suggestions? The psi has been checked on each tire, so that's not the problem. I've had the car 3 years without this light being on, and I changed the tires a month ago without a problem. Thanks!

I haven't owned my 2003 Vibe in quite a while now, but the reset button should be at the end of the plastic underneath your steering column as you work your hand down towards the brake pedal. Just slide your hand on the plastic underneath your steering wheel/column and where it ends, should be the reset button.

the reset button is near the remote power mirror controls are. getting tires will trigger the light to come on.

you need to press and hold the button w the ign on until the light flashes 3 times.
