07 Vibe fog light assembly

Post by oldsman350 »

Just had my wife's 07's front end repainted due to a lesson not learned with love bugs. Her fog light lense on both sides are cracked. Do I have to buy a whole new light assembly or can the fog light covers be bought only?

I think the lens and housing all come as one assembly. You could probably use some kind of clear glue to seal the cracks in the glass lens and then put a clear plexiglass cover in front of it to protect it from further damage.

I never use my fogs, and both of them on my 03 are cracked. I haven't done anything to protect them.

Replacing the assembly is the only way to get a new one. The dealer I use has them listed for $146 each.
For used ones try http://car-part.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or ebay.

After toolguy disappeared, and one of my fog light covers went missing, I installed a set of Yellow Lamin-X covers to keep the glass safe. I've been completely happy with the Lamin-X product.
