Maybe everyone is hoping that GM will admit to a crappy paint job and let everyone have new ones under warrenty. Unless bumper to bumper warrenties means paint is not between the bumpers. As for me. A new paint job is on order, right after someone comes out with a REAL body kit that replaces the front and rear bumper and lets me remove all the clading. The hood is going to be replaced with carbon fiber. I also want to remove the door strip. I'm still debating on going with my war-bird scheme. Or get a pearlized silver and silver ghost flames with lots of clearcoat. For me, I'm not in any hurry but I'm hoping next year sometime. When the money comes, things will be done.

actually i am thinking about custom squirting the vib, however right now we dont have a shop and the aroma of primer/paint/clear wafing thru the house from the attached garage isnt really motivating me right now, LOL !!!! but i hope to customize the hood before winter gets here with a gray that matches the bottom trim but really lay the BIG metallic flakes in it to make it dance..then place louvers or a shaker scoop (very small) over the air filter system..all it takes is $$$$$ the paint that i want to use is about $200.00 a quart, sooooo and the metallic candy clear isnt cheap either...i think the main draw back is $$$$$ costs way more to paint than to modify...even a s/c , installed and everything is cheaper than paint mods.
