It's finally happened

Post by SeattleJeremy »

After 135,000 miles, 6 years 4 months, one of my tail light bulbs burned out :D

I replace them both, as long as I'm back there right?

Man, that's a bummer. Time to junk it and buy something else! :D

FWIW, I've never changed the tail lights on my Mustang. They are 25 yrs old. Now that I type this I'm sure they will burn out now.

Geez. When my thread of the same name was posted all I proclaimed was hitting 100,000 miles. But that bulb man, wow, THAT'S an achievement!

And yes, replace them both. Then see if they die again at 270,000 miles.

That's a pretty dependable run you had there :D Something tells me that the newer LED's that are going into cars today WON'T quite last as long as conventional bulbs. Time will tell 8-)
