They're quite a bright shade of red. But that could also be from your camera, or my screen.

They add a nice accent!

Those look nice :D A bit pricey though  I wonder if they'll get stolen or lost if you hit a curb :o They do add a nice touch to the wheels though ;)

No , they are really hard PVC, take road abuse quite well.

The adhesive is 3M and MAN they are stuck on and do not move at all.

Actually they are orange but have various colors too.

They come with a 2 year warranty that also covers the adhesive , so if that happens I get some free, plus I have left over material to do a 5th wheel if needed too.

Definitely a really neat idea that someone is making a ton of money off of!

They are taking them to SEMA this year from what my friend told me. So should get bigger after that.

I swear this is not a set up -- but, with a Pontiac Vibe wheel in the staring role, we just posted a write up on how Wheel Bands can actually survive a curb rash event-- or at least provide for a much easier clean up to a like new condition than if you drive around in bare naked alloy wheels.

Here's the teaser photo:

This is a great idea - definitely checking into it. My daughter recently curbed one of my three remaining pristine wheels. Even if they were damaged on a curb it would protect the wheel and then the wheel band could be replaced. Might try to get my wife's new car done like this before it is too late.

Exactly and if not too damaged you can even take it out and flip it over, or use the extra material left over to splice.

Yes. Thanks! :D

Two installation tips:

1) If covering up damage, make sure to smooth out the damage enough to allow the tape to get a good bond surface.

2) The tape has awesome bond strength - when the wheel surface is clean. After a good car wash, use paper towels and non-ammonia window cleaner liberally to wipe surface totally clean of any residual tire shine or polish products. Tape does not stick to silicone overspray from tires --- or to teflon coated wheels.

I did that and used the supplied alcohol wipes, and yes the tape is SUPER strong!
