I wonder if they'll get stolen or lost if you hit a curb
They do add a nice touch to the wheels though
They are taking them to SEMA this year from what my friend told me. So should get bigger after that.vibenvy wrote:Definitely a really neat idea that someone is making a ton of money off of!

Here's the teaser photo:

Even if they were damaged on a curb it would protect the wheel and then the wheel band could be replaced. Might try to get my wife's new car done like this before it is too late.
Yes. Thanks!regnac wrote:Your welcome for the free advertising !
I did that and used the supplied alcohol wipes, and yes the tape is SUPER strong!WheelBuddy wrote:Yes. Thanks!regnac wrote:Your welcome for the free advertising !![]()
Two installation tips:
1) If covering up damage, make sure to smooth out the damage enough to allow the tape to get a good bond surface.
2) The tape has awesome bond strength - when the wheel surface is clean. After a good car wash, use paper towels and non-ammonia window cleaner liberally to wipe surface totally clean of any residual tire shine or polish products. Tape does not stick to silicone overspray from tires --- or to teflon coated wheels.
