Another one bites the dust

Post by BurnOnyx08 »

So the wife, the young lad and I were on the way to Ikea when we met a young lady driving a G6. Met her at about 50 kph

Thank god no one was hurt.

Pulled right out of a gas station making a left. Didn't see me. Had about 15 feet to stop. Stopped halfway through her drivers side rear quarter panel.

R.I.P. Vibesy, thinking of a used 09 or 10 vibe to replace the 08 or a Chevy Orlando

Images now attached!

Update: after almost a month of fighting with insurance and car dealers, finally bought today!

2009 Vibe, 2.4, in the dark blue with the roof rails. Picking it up tonight. Only downside is it is registered as a rebuild. But had 127000 kms on the '08 and the '09 has 64000

Sorry to hear about the Vibe, but as always, glad to hear everyone's okay.

Good luck with your new vehicle search. I highly recommend a 2009 or 2010 Vibe ;)!

Excellent idea ;) Sorry to hear of your loss and glad all occupants were not seriously hurt. Definitely seek out another Vibe while you can.
Looking forward to the pics AND of your soon to be replacement Vibe. Keep us all posted here on GenVibe & good luck :)

I threw pics in the original post, will be posting pics of the new Vibe in the next few days. Selling my project motorcycle, so this car will be getting all the attention now... where to start, where to start.

Glad to hear you ended up with another Vibe! Looking forward to seeing pictures of it!

As for where to start, what kind of mods are you looking to do?

Tint first, looking to do foglights and some interior light mods. Drove a few cars while waiting on my insurance company and really liked the "mood lighting" in the new Dodge vehicles.

Happy to hear everyone was ok,,, but so sad to see the damage and I know it can be very agrevating dealing with the insurance company to get a settlement I know I went through it myself in February of this year with my 03 matrix but it all turned out well in the end and got myself a great deal on an 05 vibe Good Luck....
