Anyone using wheel adapters to go to 5X114.3 wheels? This change would make it much easier to find cheap 17" wheels on Craigslist, etc. It's about $150 for a set of 4 adapters:

your off set will be very aggresive with spacers of that thickness ,may encounter rubing . will prolly make it more difficult to find wheels with an off set that worked with those so id suggest staying 5x100 also those spacers are bad for the bearings/and the car is lug centeric so they arnt realy safe......

ah damn it. wouldn't mind these but you have to get a set of high offset wheels to be able to fit them nice. I am going with some 5x100 > 5x120 35mm adapters for the front and 45mm for the rear and using some +56 offset vette wheels, 17x9.5".
