2009-2010 Vibe 2.4L alignment spec

Post by cq358 »

Does anybody remember the alignment spec with the gen2 car?

Does anybody did their alignment and found out their toe always out of spec?

When I got tires on my GT, they did an alignment too. Looks like the basic specs on a GT at least are just about:

Front:
camber -0.6 +-.8
caster 3.0 +-.07
toe 0.00 +- .1

Rear:
camber -1.1 +-.7
toe 0.125 +-.125

The only one off on my car was the left rear toe; it was 0.26 so they pulled it back in to 0.12. The rest were just barely off spec but within the acceptable tolerance.

I have posted the tire wear in a different thread.

My toe is off as well.

I think the toe could be out of spec straight from the factory, I didn't hit anything so far. Based on the tire wear, the outer shoulders wear out in a faster pace.
May be that why when I first put on my snow tires it was loud and it became quiet after 2000k.
