Speaker install help

Post by shanghei »

I am having a little problem here, on both the front left and right speakers, there is no continuity at the harness.

I am confused, I dont see any cuts anywhere.

I now tested all 4 speakers and there is no continuity in any of the speakers leading to the harness. Could something been unplugged that breaks the continuity?

I am so confused.

Ok so some updates, I followed the speaker wires from both the left and right doors and they go into a harness by the feet areas, it has continuity there, which is good because of all else fails Ill snip them off that harness and re run the wire from there which will save me from having to feed speaker wire through the door.

But my question is, somewhere in between the harness at the foot area and the main harness in deck area, continuity is lost, is there some other harness in between there that is screwing this up?

Well I cut the front left speaker wire at harness #1 and all works well for that, not to splice into the other three.
