2009 vibe and matrix pads compatible?
Does anyone know if the 2009 matrix brake pads can be used on a 2009 vibe? I find that toyota parts are a bit cheaper than Pontiac parts.

Should be the same parts since the entire drivetrains are the same. And I checked on Autozone.com and their replacement pads have the same part # for both.

They are the same but there are 2 different sizes based on your engine. I don't know the numbers for the 1.8L but if you have the 2.4L the part number for the fronts is 04465-02230. Also, you will need the shims, sold separate, 04945-0R030. Stick with the OEM from the dealer, superior in every way!
